
Two outstanding students recognized for excellence in software engineering programs as part of PomeGran’s commitment to empowering the next generation of female tech leaders.
Toronto, ON – May 14, 2025 – PomeGran Inc. (PomeGran) is proud to celebrate its continued support for Women in STEM through the presentation of two scholarships to exceptional Centennial College students, Gabriela Waisman and Marta Polishchuk. Awarded for the 2024-2025 school year, these scholarships highlight PomeGran’s steadfast commitment to fostering inclusion and innovation in Canada’s technology sector. Both recipients are enrolled in software engineering programs at Centennial College and have demonstrated academic excellence, perseverance, and passion for their field.
Gabriela Waisman, a Software Engineering Technician student, shared how meaningful the scholarship is to her: “This award recognizes my hard work and encourages me as I continue my academic and professional journey. It motivates me to strive for excellence and strengthens my passion for the technology field. With this support, I am more determined than ever to achieve my career goals and inspire others the way this award has inspired me.”
Marta Polishchuk, a Software Engineering Technology student and co-op participant, expressed how the award has relieved financial pressures during a particularly challenging year. “This scholarship brings much-needed financial relief, allowing me to stay focused on my studies. Your generosity has given me the stability I need to succeed and continue building a career in technology.”
